The day was beautiful with blue skies and bright sunshine. I woke up with a determination, realizing that I had come far in scouting and was excited, but knew I had another challenge ahead. I have always realized there were boys larger than me which made me work harder to make my place and even beat them. It was my day to take the pledge into the Elite Scouts and would do whatever required of me to get that honor. Uncertain of the requirements, I would do whatever it takes…
