A lonely widow has the right to happiness. She never asked for anything, as years of solitude had accustomed her to the deafening tick-tock of the clock. All she needed was a little bit of simple human warmth. A young woman wanted so desperately for her mommy to be happy that she denied her boyfriend the small pleasures of human connection.
