While some priests at St. Patrick’s Catholic Academy have drawn a line when it comes to home visits, Father Parker is not so conservative. He believes that boys should have access to him at all hours of the night and day, and he will never turn away a young man who is looking for clarity. Today, he has the opportunity to offer young Taylor some much needed guidance. The boy feels lost and alone, so he has journeyed to his favorite priest’s house to have his mind put at ease. Maybe a conversation with the man will show him a new avenue that he has yet to take. Parker welcomes the boy with open arms. He has long wondered about Taylor’s mental wellbeing, as he’s clearly had a hard time adjusting to life at the strict dorm. But he’s pleased to discover that Taylor is finding his way, albeit slowly.
